Senior Graphic Designer - Marketing Assistant • 2023 May to 2025 October at LITON Lighting (Culver City, CA) • As a key member of the marketing team at LITON, I work closely with the Brand Manager to develop innovative web and print marketing communications that effectively highlight the features and benefits of our lighting products for architectural design, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all materials. I designed the latest web banners to enhance our webpage's visual appeal, as well as template designs for case studies for both LITON and ModuLED. Key to these projects are photo retouching, color correction, and image treatment, ensuring the visuals are balanced, polished and impactful. I create very simple but engaging videos to show the benefits of our products. Collaborating closely with the Sales Team Managers and the marketing team, I create and redesign company presentations to enhance their effectiveness in showcasing our products during meetings. On a daily basis, I maintain and update webpage content, organizing product specification pages to reflect the latest advancements in our continually evolving lighting product line. This includes managing data, banners, visual assets, logos and icons, fonts and colors, agent contact listings, and specification sheets using FileZilla and the Magento 2.0 backend. Just as a side note, not all the banners and posts are coming entirely from my design judgment. I personally, and overall, strictly follow design concepts, and always put quality and my experience on top of my work.
Visual Effects Artist • 2021 October to 2022 February at Genius Brand International (Beverly Hills, CA) • As a VFX compositor, I specialize in integrating digital assets with live-action footage to create seamless and visually captivating shots for film and television. My work involves meticulously blending various elements to enhance storytelling and ensure a polished final product. In my recent role in post-production for "KC Pop Quiz" on Kartoon Channel, I employed a range of advanced techniques, including green screen compositing, color correction, rotoscoping, and matte painting. Each of these skills plays a critical role in bringing the director's vision to life, allowing for dynamic and engaging visuals that resonate with audiences. Through green screen techniques, I skillfully isolate subjects and replace backgrounds, creating immersive environments that draw viewers into the narrative. My expertise in color correction ensures that all elements of a shot maintain a cohesive look and feel, enhancing the overall aesthetic quality. Additionally, my proficiency in rotoscoping allows for precise manipulation of visual elements, enabling me to integrate digital assets seamlessly into live-action footage. Matte painting is another key aspect of my work, allowing me to create stunning landscapes and settings that enhance the visual storytelling. By combining traditional artistry with digital tools, I contribute to the creation of rich, immersive worlds that captivate audiences. Overall, my role as a VFX compositor not only requires technical expertise but also a creative eye for detail, enabling me to produce high-quality visual effects that elevate the narrative experience.
Graphic Production Artist • 2019 October to 2019 December at Designory (Long Beach, CA) • Imagine working on thousands of banners—literally!—of various sizes created for Amazon Music. This project involved updating backgrounds, organizing layers, and managing complex PSD files to ensure each banner met the high standards of the brand. What made this project particularly exciting was the multilingual aspect, as I worked on creating and adapting these banners in eight different languages. This not only required a keen eye for design but also an understanding of how to convey the brand’s message effectively across diverse cultures and audiences. Throughout the process, I engaged in a meticulous workflow, ensuring that each layer was well-organized and easily accessible for any necessary adjustments. The challenge of maintaining consistency in design while catering to different languages and regional nuances was both stimulating and rewarding. This project was not just about creating visually appealing banners; it was also about contributing to a larger marketing strategy aimed at reaching a global audience. The dynamic nature of the work, coupled with the creative freedom to experiment with various designs and layouts, made it a fun and interesting experience. Ultimately, the ability to blend creativity with practicality in such a large-scale project deepened my appreciation for the complexities of digital marketing and visual communication..
Lead Graphic Digital Artist - Presentations Designer • 2015 February to 2019 May at (defunct company) Liberman Broadcasting • I’ve lost count of the number of banners I’ve created for clients to be showcased on social media. My work spans a wide range of formats, including social media graphics, web banners, presentation designs, posters, prints, and event tickets for all the company’s TV and radio stations nationwide. Collaborating closely with the sales department has been a vital aspect of my role. This position often required me to navigate the challenge of creating designs quickly, sometimes within just minutes. However, the urgency of these requests didn’t always align with the creative vision, especially when the preferences of the owner or sales representatives came into play. While my input was meant to elevate the final product, it occasionally resulted in substantial alterations that compromised the original intent of the design. This led to outcomes that felt less cohesive and, at times, produced a more amateurish look than I aimed for. Despite these challenges, I embraced the opportunity to adapt and evolve my designs. Each project presented a unique chance to balance the artistic vision with the commercial needs of the client. I learned to communicate effectively with the sales team, ensuring that their insights were incorporated while still preserving the integrity of the design.
Head Photoshop Teacher • 2018 February at The Design Cure Academy • I conducted online classes that teach and mentor interior designers of all skill levels, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I take ownership of my tasks and work independently, requiring minimal direction. Not only that, but I excel in clear communication, efficiently conveying complex concepts through both written and spoken channels. To enhance the learning experience, I create screen-recorded tutorials that provide visual guidance for students who may benefit from additional support. This approach allows me to break down intricate design techniques and processes, ensuring that all students can grasp the material effectively. My goal is to empower aspiring interior designers by equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their careers.
2D Production Artist • 2011 June to 2013 September at Inhance Digital (Los Angeles, CA) • In my role at Enhance Digital, I assist in producing a variety of assets essential for development, contributing to projects that transform complex science and technology concepts into engaging interactive experiences. My responsibilities include breaking apart PSD files and setting up Illustrator files for smooth import into After Effects. This meticulous process ensures that all design elements are ready for animation, allowing for a seamless transition from static assets to dynamic visuals. I also prepare PSD layers for import, create rough animation passes, and export assets tailored for programming needs. My work often involves developing layouts based on established designs, as well as crafting rough layouts that serve as the foundation for final polish. Additionally, I handle image manipulation and photo touch-ups, ensuring that all visual elements meet the high standards expected by our clients. Inhance Digital is an interactive agency renowned for its ability to bring intricate ideas to life through innovative mediums such as surface tables, touch screens, wall interactives, and iPad applications. I have had the privilege of collaborating with prestigious clients, including NASA, Boeing, Raytheon, the Air Force, GSD&M, Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, Intel, GE Healthcare, Amgen, Biogen Idec, Ethicon, Merial, and VPI Pet Insurance.
Stereo Compositor • 2010 August to 2011 August at Sassoon Film Design (Santa Monica, CA) • As a Stereo Compositor, a meticulous eye for detail is essential. Utilizing Adobe After Effects, we employ a dual composition technique to separate the original raw footage into two distinct compositions. By applying tailored values to each composition, we can achieve specific visual characteristics that enhance the overall depth perception. This method results in more pronounced and immersive 3D effects, significantly enriching the viewing experience for audiences. Some characteristics of this conversion process include: Channel Separation: The use of red and blue channels allows for distinct visual layers, improving clarity and depth in the final output. Depth Mapping: Careful analysis of each scene helps to establish depth levels, ensuring that foreground and background elements are effectively differentiated. Attention to Detail: Every frame is scrutinized to maintain the integrity of the original content while enhancing its three-dimensionality. The films I worked on: Inazuma Eleven (Japanese Anime, 2010) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010) The Green Hornet (2011) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (2011) The Smurfs (2011) To the Arctic (IMAX Documentary, 2011) Space Junk (IMAX Documentary, 2012) The goal was to deliver a captivating viewing experience that adds a new dimension to these beloved films, making them more engaging for audiences, whether in a theatrical setting or at home.

It is my privilege to recommend Rosella Lucherino for employment. As a member of the Compositing department at KC POP Quiz, and Stereoscopic Compositing team at Sassoon Film Design, Rosella demonstrated excellent skills needed for the compositing phase of production. I have had the pleasure of working with Rosella two times over the last few years and each time she has been a valuable member of each team. The work at KC POP Quiz required that over the course of 4 months, the compositing department to pull together a team to create a server, organize and track footage, coordinate with Editors and deliver 144 episodes requiring, color correction, roto, tracking and compositing. At Sassoon Film Design the team had the added difficulty of finial compositing and tracking and Paint back making original 2D films into a 3D experience was required. Rosella contributions were invaluable to both teams. Her talents with paint back, matting, rotoscoping and tracking were essential to the job as well as her helping and training new hires. Rosella has excellent work ethics and commitment to a project. She is quick to learn new skills and can see and understand what area needs attention and where she can help. Her flexibility and response to last minute changes and her desire to pitch in on deliverables even if not in her intended scope shows outstanding teamwork and dedication to the job. Rosella would be a great addition to any company.
